Pause Experiment

Suspends enrolment; traffic reverts to control within ~60s. Resume with Start. Pausing a non-running experiment returns 409.

Use it when you need to halt a test temporarily — a bad deploy, a sale week that would skew the result. Paused days still count against the planned duration.

Paused time still counts against the duration_days deadline. The deadline is computed from started_at, not from time spent running — so pausing for three days burns three days of the test, and days_remaining keeps ticking down while paused. The only way to get the lost days back is to extend duration_days via Update Experiment.
